Diamonds may no longer be a girl's best friend. According to a survey conducted by the Oxygen Network, more women would choose a plasma TV over a diamond solitaire necklace, a top-of-the-line cellphone instead of designer shoes, and an iPod before a little black dress. The results of the Girls Gone Wired survey indicate that advertisers need to address a broader audience when it comes to technological gadgets.
